![]() ![]() In another contested race, the two Spa City Supervisors’ seats are up for grabs, with incumbent Republican Matt Veitch, also appearing on the One Saratoga line, Democrat Gordon Boyd and One Saratoga candidate and former Finance Commissioner Michele Madigan, also appearing on the Democratic party line, on the ballot. Montagnino, a Democrat, has been under fire for several months by members of his own party. ![]() Public Safety Commissioner Jim Montagnino, meanwhile, is being challenged by Republican and One Saratoga candidate Tim Coll and Community First candidate Kirsten Dart. Over the past several months, all three candidates have exchanged barbs with each other over topics including City Council civility, the Darryl Mount case, and crime. In June, Kim beat former ally Mathiesen in the Democratic primary. In the Spa City, Democratic Mayor Ron Kim, who is also appearing on the Working Families party line, is being challenged by Republican John Safford and One Saratoga candidate and former Democratic Commissioner of Public Safety Christian Mathiesen.
